While life coaching is relatively new in Italy, it has been a common practice in the U.S. for many years. The aim of life coaching is to help clients determine and achieve personal goals and does so utilizing an array of methods and strategies.
Many of my clients have chosen to work with me in order to change unhealthy habits (smoking, nutrition disorders, etc.), others to change jobs or to simply find the inner strength to ask for a raise in their salary, to end a relationship that is not working and even to find the right partner. From everyday life changes to big steps outside the comfort zone of our lives like changing ones lifestyle, overtaking a past trauma or healing a so-called "incurable" disease.
Everything in our life is translated in a mental thought and a related feeling. Knowing how to manage our mental and emotional potential opens up new scenarios towards personal growth on a level that we have never dared to explore.
Life coaching with Zena
Saint Augustine used to say "We are what we frequently do" and more than that we are what we think and what we feel: thoughts and feelings are the essence of our capabilities to act and excel in life.
The secret consists in knowing how these two forces are interacting in ourselves and the ability to take advantage of them for our success. We all know, typically, how we can develop our muscles in the gym: specific training, repetitions, breathing, good nutrition.
A lot less developed is our knowledge about the development of our mental skills and I am not referring to our memory but to a deeper power that involves all the levels of our life and identity. Happiness, self confidence, creative energy, balance and passion towards what we live are all dealing within our "mental gym".
Think of your life as a chair. Every aspect of your life contributes to decorate this chair according to your personality: squared, rounded, with flowered cushions or minimalist. Whatever works for you, the main idea I would like you to take into consideration is that your chair is in equilibrium when all four legs are balanced: mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.
My life coaching style is to understand together how to balance these four aspects of your life so that your chair won't lean unevenly and be your stepping stone in leaping toward your ideal self.
The reason why a life coach is so useful in reaching these goals is because our minds often get trapped in the same repetitive thought pattern due to the necessity to be constantly organized and functional.
A different perspective about things you deal with on a daily basis can give you a new and improved way to organize and strategize your life.

I have traveled throughout in more than 40 countries and I presently reside in Kauai, a Hawaiian island whose energy is so powerful and productive for self-awareness and personal growth.

How does life coaching with Zena?
The first step consists of an informal chat where we determine if and how we want to work together. This phase lasts 20 minutes.
Next we proceed with our coaching sessions (45 minutes each) and it is preferable to work with a webcam in order to see each other in addition to talking through Skype.
The coaching ends when your goals are accomplished.
