Maybe I have a bit of inflammation". In everyday terms, inflammation gives rise to a vague state of discomfort.
It could be almost anything: intoxication, ovaritis, adnexitis, colitis intestinal parasites, vaginitis, candida, hemorrhoids, food intolerances , swollen stomach , indigestion, varicocele among others. However, the only clear perception is that there is something that is not right between the chest and the legs and it causes sensations of swelling, irritation and discomfort.
If the body is given the proper support, it's able to defend itself and this type of problem is usually faced effectively with the natural cures that are described below.
However, it's necessary to proceed with caution. If the sensations of inflammation become much stronger and/or they are concentrated in a specific area, a doctor must be consulted immediately for a precise diagnosis.
In most cases a little bit of aid can bring the "tummy" back to normal.
WHAT DOES PERSISTENT INFLAMMATION MEAN?
In the past few years, various studies have identified a close relationship between inflammatory mechanisms and the origin of a number of diseases.
The disturbance that a persistent inflammation, however mild, causes to the body can create a condition that facilitates the development of various pathologies and, most of all, may sustain them or interfere greatly with their cure.
Some diseases result from the wearing down of the immune system that can be caused, for example, by the presence of food hypersensitivity or even a mild, yet continuous, exposure to heavy metals.
Since it's constantly occupied with other areas, for example the intestines, the defense system loses its ability to react properly in the areas where its action is needed.
This reduction in the ability to defend the body leads to a series of problems such as recurring infections , acne, chronic vaginitis, mycoses , recurring respiratory diseases and relapses of cystitis .
One of the leading authorities in Italian Pediatrics, Burgio, spoke of "consumption pathology" with regard to recurring infections of the throat and bronchial passages in children. In fact, it's not rare that a child who is prone to frequent respiratory problems, accompanied by inflammation and mucous, is a child who has a food intolerance .
His immune system is hard at work on food and isn't able to dedicate itself entirely to other attacks on the mucous membranes, the pharynx, the tonsils, the lungs, etc.
Other types of disease stem from the persistent inflammatory state caused by immune reactions. Local inflammatory reactions, on the digestive system, can give rise to colitis, infant colic, meteorism indigestion, poor absorption of minerals and other nutrients, abdominal gas, gastritis , duedenitis or contribute to the development of chronic inflammatory pathologies such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis.
On the other hand, the general reactions, accompanied by generalized inflammation even in organs that are far from the intestine, can facilitate the onset of fibromyalgia muscle aches, arthritis, seborrhoeic dermatitis psoriasis, chronic hepatopathy demyelinating neurological diseases, headache or migraine, acne, nasal polyposis, and disturbances in heart rate (especially tachycardia and premature ventricular contractions).
We know for a fact that an interference with the immune system can contribute to the origin of many autoimmune or rheumatic diseases such as: rheumatoid arthritis, cryolglobulinemia, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, lupus and some cases of diabetes and the Cushing syndrome.
The inflammatory substances that are produced by hypersensitivity reactions can cause a series of disturbances that seem odd but are actually closely connected to this type of immunological reaction. Here we're referring to many behavioral disturbances in children (urinary incontinence, hypersomnia, insomnia, hyperactivity, learning difficulties, and many others) but also epileptic expressions with aura and chronic fatigue.
Even the composition of a person's diet for example the ratio of proteins to carbohydrates) can have an influence on the presence of inflammatory substances.
An excess in carbohydrates, for example, increases the level of insulin in the body thus facilitating the development of chain reactions that encourage inflammation and certain diseases as a consequence.
The threshold level is the discriminating factor that determines whether a reaction occurs or not. When the sum of the inflammatory elements that were induced by hypersensitivity or pre-existing reactions in the body surpasses that level, the pathological symptom appears in a clear and decisive way.
Below that level, the body tolerates the level of inflammation and specific symptoms do not occur.
In the case of any disturbance accompanied by chronic inflammation for which the cause is unknown, it's not inappropriate to think of (and be tested for) the possibility of a hidden food hypersensitivity, a variation in the balance of your diet, or a disturbance of a toxic nature.
Because of the frequency with which these factors tend to show up in inflammatory forms, it's a good idea to put together a clear picture of the general situation by way of a test for food intolerances (DRIA test ) and a hair test.
The identification of a problem of this sort -once the foods responsible for the hypersensitivity or nutritional imbalances have been recognized- often leads to the possibility of curing (or helping to improve) even severe disturbances thanks to a simple diet.
DON'T OVERLOOK THE MIND
In recent years, the 1986 Noble prize winner Rita Levi Montalcini stated that when the Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) is emitted, it causes an enormous increase in inflammatory cells (mast cells) within the body.
The inflammation and allergy can therefore increase in a violent way parallel to the production of this substance that the body produces in all conditions in which it perceives a danger to its vital sphere.
This doesn't mean that we produce NGF before drowning (risk of death) but rather in all of those circumstances in which the body (intended as a complex system of body-mind-emotions) feels that its stability is threatened (mourning, defeat, accidents, relocation, depressions, disappointment, pollution).
Unfortunately these are conditions that arise frequently and as such we need to keep in mind the management of inflammatory phenomena that may accompany them.
An integrated treatment must take into consideration many different possibilities in order to act upon the threshold level.
Among others, it's useful to remember that the availability of certain trace elements (especially Zinc, Copper and Lithium) that help to increase this level. Accordingly, behavior and therapy that is geared towards psycho-emotional re balancing also act in a similar way.
Sometimes even a simple vacation can help to raise the breaking point; in fact one may experience an unusual period of absence from the symptoms during periods away from work or when one is far from the principal sources of stress.
In the end, we can't always completely eliminate a chronic inflammatory phenomenon, but it's crucial to know that it can be influenced, modulated, modified and reduced. In this way one can try to find a solution by reactivating the enormous capacity for adaptation that every living being possesses.
A chronic inflammatory phenomenon can therefore be evaluated by considering at least three possibilities for modulation.
1. Dietary and Nutritional
2.Neuro-psychic
3.Environmental-ecological
There are surely numerous instruments with which we can help the body to re-balance itself. It's important to remember that although it's true that many situations deemed untreatable can be helped by way of soft and sensible therapeutic instruments, it's also true that there are inflammatory and allergic situations that are extremely difficult to treat. In these situations there may be a combination of allergies, intolerances, deep-seated psychic phenomena and resistance to changes in habit and behavior.
Under these circumstances, the use of classic drugs becomes necessary, and sometimes, unfortunately, knowing their limits, even these medicines aren't able to provide a cure.
In short, neither doctors nor patients are omnipotent, and it's good to remember this every once in a while. Nevertheless, this doesn't mean that we can't use all of our available resources to bring about recovery, a cure or even just a regulation of the patients' symptoms.
FIRST AID
A few days of detoxification are always beneficial. What's more, for a period of 15-20 days, one can drink a cup of mallow tea (20 grams steeped in a liter of boiling water for 10 minutes) in the morning and a cup of blueberry leaf herbal tea (2 pinches steeped in a cup of boiling water for 10 minutes) in the evening.
In addition to these herbal infusions, also use the following phyto-therapeutic remedies for 10-15 days: Ribes nigrum 1D (40 drops twice daily) when you feel that the body is irritated; Arctium lappa TM (25 drops two or three times per day) when you feel that the body is intoxicated.
Furthermore, when the lunar phase changes, also take a single dose of Oxiurus vermicularis 200 CH.
