Lose weight with food intolerances control PDF Print E-mail
by Attilio Speciani

«Doctor, can you help me lose weight?” It seems like everyone else stuffs themselves while I don’t eat very much. Nevertheless, I keep gaining weight. If I go on a diet, I immediately lose pounds, but as soon as I stop, I gain them back with interest. Is there something that can help me?»

This is the most frequent type of request that we receive, and since it’s perfectly motivated by scientific reasons, this explains why it’s such a common problem.

A well-executed diet based on food intolerances, respectful of certain dietary principles, is able to help the many people who are affected by delayed food allergies lose weight and get back into shape.

Food intolerances trigger an inflammatory process within the body that provokes weight gain and activates a warning signal within the body.

The accumulation of excess weight (usually in the wrong places) is the correct response that everyone has to a possibly dangerous situation that is prolonged over time. For instance, consider the bear who prepares for the winter when the leaves turn yellow and the first chills send him signals warning him that winter is near.

The goal of a diet that regulates food intolerances is to annul the inflammatory aspects (also useful for other immunological disturbances), do away with the warning signal received by the body, and instead send it signals to activate the metabolism. Just like what happens with horses in the months of February and March: the rays of the sun send signals to reactivate their metabolism which helps them to lose weight in a few short weeks, become nimble and slim again, and regenerate their manes and tails.

All in a natural and spontaneous fashion In this way, a diet based on food intolerances represents a powerful signal diet that allows for weight loss in the very places where fat has been accumulated incorrectly and facilitates metabolism reactivation, thus re-creating proper insulin sensitivity.

The two following practical examples of intolerance-based diet planning express more than many words on the subject. We’re referring to two people who have had a good deal of media visibility in the past two months, thanks to television and the magazine Donna Moderna.

The protagonist of the first example is Giulia, a talented Sicilian dancer from the reality show “Amici”. Giulia was eliminated because of her body shape. Although she was already a very athletic woman, she starts with a signal diet that calls for the modification of certain aspects of her diet and especially the regulation of her use of salt and yeast (to which she was found to be intolerant). The incredible result demonstrates how Giulia had transformed fat into muscle, losing it exactly where she had accumulated it. By controlling food intolerances, you activate a type of signal that is equal to and opposite of that which over time caused weight gain in the wrong places.

Our second protagonist, Chiara, saw a real change in her figure after working on her intolerant reactions to wheat, milk and salt. At the same time, she activated a metabolic signal by way of the simplest movement possible: walking; a sport that almost anyone can practice.

Practical application

In order to follow a diet that regulates food intolerances you need to have the results of a food intolerance test interpreted according to the “theory of the 5 great food groups”.

We prefer to base our evaluations on the DRIA test, ALCAT test and Cytotoxic tests. The correct interpretation of these tests (as well as other possible tests) can be performed through our Intolerances online service which can be purchased directly over the internet.

By way of the same communication channel, you can receive and discuss personal dietary information and guidelines in a private and direct manner all in the comfort of your own home What’s more, the Intolerances online service offers you the necessary support information for the rotation diet.

Generally speaking, the intolerances online service that is geared towards weight loss follows this type of program, even though the instructions may vary from person to person:

  1. Rotation diet based on food intolerances which allows for 3-5 “free” meals per week. This aids in regaining tolerance and makes the road towards getting back into shape a joyous one.
  2. Total elimination of sugar and sweeteners (whether natural or artificial, including honey and malt). The only sweets that are allowed are complex sweets (homemade cakes, cookies) that can be eaten on free days. The elimination of sugar is one of the strongest metabolic signals that you can send to the body in order to activate weight loss.
  3. Preferential use of raw foods. The use of foods with a low glycemic index (all whole grain cereals have a glycemic index that is lower than that of refined ones) allows for a higher caloric intake without creating glycemic peaks. By using foods with a low glycemic index, substituting refined cereals with whole grain when possible, you increase your consumption of calories and burn fat.
  4. Combination of carbohydrates and proteins in every meal. Starting with breakfast up until dinner, the combination of proteins, carbohydrates and fiber in the same meal slows down absorption, lowers the glycemic load of the meal and improves insulin sensitivity.
  5. Eating a generous breakfast which will gradually become the main meal of the day. You should eat breakfast within one hour of waking, or following early morning exercise...
  6. Activation of movement. This is one of the most important signals that you can give to your body. Slow aerobic activity must bring every individual back to his role of hunter and harvester, typical of the Paleolithic Era (hundreds of thousands of years ago). Even just walking is sufficient, but it must be done in a continuous fashion for at least 61 minutes 3 times a week at minimum and anything more that will give added benefits.
  7. Implementation of several rules for eating such as prolonged chewing, which activates the break down of fat and the intake of a small portion of raw fruit or vegetable before every meal (“raw, fresh and colorful” substances), a technique that speeds up the control of food intolerances and allergies.
