Atrophic endometrium: how Nature can lend a hand PDF Print E-mail

Hello.
In your newsletter I often find articles and discussions on endometriosis.
However, for once I would like to call your attention to the opposite problem: atrophic endometrium. In this case the internal lining that allows the fertilized egg to lodge itself correctly in the uterus does not form and consequently there is a premature interruption of pregnancy.
Are there natural remedies that can be used together with conventional hormonal treatments that make the endometrium function effectively?
Is a different remedy used if the atrophy was caused by a D&C operation?
Thank you for your kind attention.

Dearest Reader,

A D&C operation doesn't usually cause alterations of such an extent that would lead to atrophy of the endometrium. Rather, a condition like the one described above could be the sign of a subsequent hormonal blockage and not necessarily be linked to the operation.

First of all, in situations like this it's important to intervene with all of the major minerals that possess a hormonal regulatory action. In particular, we're referring to manganese, zinc and copper. A practical solution is offered by the balanced mix contained in Oximix 5 (Driatec) to be taken in the dosage of one measure at breakfast for a therapy cycle of around 40 days. The therapy can be repeated even for long periods. Oximix 5's special mixture of trace elements also has an important toning action on the circulatory system in general.

When treating a condition like atrophic endometrium, it's very useful to add a strong anti-oxidant stimulus to the minerals. One capsule per day of products like Pinoflavo 30 (Solgar) or Resvital (OTI) allows for the regeneration of the body's antioxidant capabilities. Another supplement that is useful in this sense is Coenzima Q10

With regard to diet, we would like to emphasize that a nutritional regime similar to that proposed by the GIFT diet allows for further regulation of the hormonal picture thanks to its insulin regulatory action. It's particularly important to combine carbohydrates and proteins in every meal, start the day with a breakfast that is "fit for a king" and plan for 3 1 hour-long sessions of continuous aerobic physical activity per week. The sum of these good habits guarantees not only physical re-balancing but psycho-emotional re-balancing as well

In reference to the GIFT diet, we would like to stress the importance of a correct balance between omega 3 fatty acids and omega 6. On this point, the use of extra virgin olive oil as well as cold-pressed linseed or soy oil, the abundant use of oily seeds like almonds, hazelnuts, pine nuts, walnuts, etc insures the proper intake of all of the essential vegetable oils.

As far as homeopathic treatment is concerned, you can use a combination of FSH 4 CH and LH 4 CH. These products are usually available in suppository form and are to be taken on alternate weeks: for example, the on the Wednesday of the first week you will take FSH 4 CH while you will take the LH 4CH on the following Wednesday; the week following that, you will take FSH 4CH again and continue in this manner. These homeopathic remedies contain a dilution of up to 4 CH of two important female hormones. The action that they perform stimulates ovary regulation and consequentially the uterus as well. The use of these remedies is also discussed in the article on Menopause contained in the Eurosalus website.

In concluding, let us emphasize the deep relationship between hormonal balance and emotional balance. In conditions like the one described above, it's indispensible to also evaluate the person's emotional situation and identify any possible psychological interference that might be connected with this condition.

Cordially,

Gabriele Piuri and dr. Attilio Speciani
