The product is used in extract form and can be found at the herbalist’s or at the pharmacy under the title of Viburnum lantana 1DH MG drops (viburnum lantana glycerite extract).

Dosage

The standard use is 40-50 drops twice a day, for prolonged periods if necessary.

During an acute phase, the dosage may be increased to 40-50 drops as often as 5-6 times a day for a few days. After this time, the dosage is gradually reduced in relation to the patient’s improvement.

In natural medicine this remedy is often used in place of or in association with bronchodilators such as salbutamol (Ventolin) or similar products.

The dosage for children is inferior: utilize 20 drops instead of 40-50.

The product is slightly alcoholic, and may therefore be unsuitable for persons with yeast intolerances or for those who wish to or must avoid alcohol.
