Oscillococcinum 200 K is a homeopathic preparation. It originates from a tissue that is rich in DNA and RNA (exactly like the viruses that it combats) and is used for the prevention and cure of flu and cold conditions.

Flu, viral infections and the common cold are conditions in which its use has been documented as being effective in reducing the duration of these infectious illnesses.

As a matter of fact, the effectiveness of this type of remedy was acknowledged in an independent evaluation performed by Cochrane (one of the most rigorous scientific institutes in the world that verifies and checks the results of clinical experiments and applied research).

This body could not express a preferential opinion in relation to other allopathic treatments, however Cochrane did find that the duration of the illnesses was shorter thanks to the use of this type of remedy, indicating the need for further studies in this direction in view of the promising results that were obtained.

Dosage

During the flu prevention stage, beginning from October or November, use 1 Tube Dose of one of the remedies one day a week (in the morning on an empty stomach). Eurosalus suggests that you also use a remedy with a protective action (for example, Influenzinum 200 or Iver Oti 200) once a month to protect against the flu viruses.

When used to treat an acute cold or flu or flu-like virus, this remedy is also extremely effective in immediately combatting the acute symptoms.

Usually, a ½ tube dose at the onset of the symptoms, repeated after 2-4 hours and then again over the next 24 hours for another 2-3 times is an excellent strategy for the treatment of this type of illness.

It can be perfectly integrated with the use of general action remedies such as the mineral solution composed of Manganese Copper and Zinc and Tea tree oil (Melaleuca oil).
